Photos of Other Luberon Villages

We love exploring the Luberon and have visited most of the 70+ towns villages within the borders of the Parc Régional du Luberon. Each village is unique and interesting if you take time to discover it on foot.

These are just some of our other favorite villages:

  • Goult: An interesting perched village undiscovered by most tourists; includes a beautiful windmill on the edge of the village.
  • Lourmarin: A beautiful village on the south side of the Luberon; known for its many restaurants, restored château, and Friday morning market.
  • Oppède le Vieux: Once a significant village, abandoned and now restored; a beautiful setting on the north side of the Petit Luberon.
  • St. Saturnin-lès-Apt: A larger village on the Vaucluse Plateau with a ruined chateau and windmills; a great base for hiking.
  • Buoux: A small and isolated village surrounded by cliffs and lavender fields.
  • Sivergues: A tiny and remote village of 30 people, the highest in the Luberon.
