The colorful and lively outdoor markets are an important part of life in Provence. We love them! Almost every village has a market, always on the same day of the week. Some markets have hundreds of sellers, attracting local residents for their weekly shopping as well as tourists hoping to take home a piece of Provence. Other markets are very small: just a few sellers focusing on the needs of village residents.

The markets offer an incredible array of products as well as a sensory overload! This photo gallery offers a glimpse of four of our favorite Luberon markets, three of which we visit during our Luberon Experience week.
